Flawless Rules

I think we have reached the point where I need to release a set of rules to keep players in line. Keep in mind that this is just the first edition so there will be a lot of changes. So lets get started:


IN GAME RULES:


General:


1. The buying/selling or trading of RuneScape items or accounts using Flawless-Scape gold or items is prohibited.
Consequence: Banning for all account involved.

2. The buying/selling or trading of Flawless-Scape accounts using RuneScape gold or items is prohibited.
Consequence: Banning for all accounts involved.

3. The use of AutoClickers or AutoTypers is prohibited.
Consequence: 1 hour ban for first warning, 12 hours second warning, 24 hours third warning.

4. Advertising about another private server is prohibited.
Consequence: 24 hour mute.

5. Spamming is prohibited, this includes the use of AutoTypers, as stated in Rules 3. If you are advertising about a sale or that you are buying an item, space your advertisements to every 5 seconds.
Consequence: 24 hour mute.

6. The abuse of glitches such as duplicating items is prohibited.
Consequence: Ban.

7. The use of racist/sexist language is prohibited.
Consequence: Warning, warning, 24 hour mute.


Staff Related:


1. Asking for staff spots is prohibited.
Consequence: 1 hour mute.

2. The disrespect of staff is prohibited.
Consequence: 1 hour jail.

3. (Staff only) The abuse of powers such as mute or jail is prohibited.
Consequence: Demotion for 1 day.

4. (Staff only) The use of "ban" or "ipban" may NOT be used unless given permission by either Rebelzz or Presto.
Consequence: Demotion for 1 day.

1. Meaningless posts such as one word posts that do not help out the community at all or are just to get your post count up are prohibited.
Consequence: Reset of post count.

2. Double posting on a forum post is prohibited. If you need to add something, then just edit your first post.
Consequence: Warning.

3. The use of racist/sexist language is prohibited.
Consequence: Warning, warning, 24 hour ban from forums.

4. The use of extreme profanity such as the "F word" is prohibited.
Consequence: Warning, 6 hour ban from forums, 24 hour ban from forums.

5. You can only post if your posts consists of 20 or more words and 60 or more letters.
Consequence: Immediate post removal, Post reset to the previous day.

6. You may not phish or "fish" for information on these forums. Any link unverified will immediately be removed. The websites to have allowed to be posted are these.

Staff Related:


1. Asking for staff is prohibited.
Consequence: Warning, warning, 6 hour ban from forums.

2. The disrespect of staff in any way is prohibited.
Consequence: 12 hour ban from forums, 24 hour ban from forums.

3. (Staff only) The abuse of staff powers is prohibited.
Consequence: Demotion for 1 day.

4. (Staff only) The banning or ipbanning of an account on the forums without proof is prohibited.
Consequence: Demotion for 1 day.


CHATBOX RULES:


1. You may not spam in the chatbox.

2. You WILL NOT be disrespectful towards anyone in the chatbox. We do not condone hostile behavior.

3. You WILL help someone in the need of assistance. (This is mandatory, as we would love to make everyone feel as if they are part of the community.

4. You WILL NOT ask for a higher position. One will be bestowed upon you once seen fit.

5. You WILL NOT advertise ANYTHING on the chatbox.

6. You WILL love the chatbox.


Any time a rule is broken, it shall be marked and you will be warned. You have three warnings at the maximum before full banishment. A warning will result in a kick, and the second warning will be a temporary banishment. The third warning will be a longer banishment, and after that will lead to a full banishment. YOUR WARNINGS DO CARRY TO BOTH CHATS.


This concludes the beginning of the Flawless Rule Book (FRB). Updates will be made as I see fit and will be announced both on the forum shout box and as a yell in game from one of our staff members. I would like to take this time to thank the members of The Dream Team, Calvin and Presto, for giving me ideas for the FRB. Very nice rules. They seem fair, and should give this community a very nice sense of control. maybe adding a rule about hacking accounts, or phishing would be good.

Lol, way to break the news... you just basically gave him a giant *hint hint*, and that's almost like begging for staff position.

Eternal has a point. If you keep this up with your "subtle hinting" you will; never get a staff position.

Rebelzz, I'm just saying, I just joined, I really didn't want Moderator spot, Unless I do great things..... At least.....

+1 these rules are fantastic! of all the servers i have played this is the most detailed when it comes to rules. good work!

New rule:

Any time that a staff member of the forums is attacked or provoked by a post, then the person who posted it will have their post count reset.

This rule applies to everybody. Administrators can't get away with it either.

scary what would you classify as attacked/provoked? i dont want to set off any alarms without knowing it. just trying to be safe.
